Lean Into Transparency

Elected officials are servants of the public trust, a lesson too often forgotten in Kentucky and nationwide. I am committed to being fully transparent about votes, actions, meetings, and intentions. As a State Representative, I will fully commit myself to following all ethics and transparency guidelines, but go even further by pushing for tougher and more binding ethics regulations for all legislators.

Here's how we do it:

Transparent Representation

As a lawmaker and public servant, I am going to open up the calendar. I will be open and transparent about every meeting I do as a State Representative and promise not to hold meetings with lobbyists without making that meeting public record.

Ethics and Accountability

In the changing world of government, lawmakers need to be reminded that their sole job is to serve the people. With that in mind, I’ll advocate for more and better ethics training and ensuring lawmakers sign a public disclosure that they have received and understand the guardrails put in place to protect your government from undue big-money influence.

“You work hard and finance your government with your tax dollars. It belongs to you. I’ll never lose sight of that and will always make sure you know how, when, and where your hard-earned money is being spent!”
